Years ago, I always wanted a red pair of wedges with a funky pattern but I could never find a pair. Then I came across the Iron Fist Love Me Now Wedges and had to do a shoe review.
As I explained in my Deaths Diner Peep Toe Platform review, Iron Fist seem to have gone out of business which is incredibly sad.
I am a huge fan of the shoes and deeply upset the way they went out which has made the business questionable if they ever make a come back.
However, I guess we will have to see.
Again we have another fabulous pair of shoes and couldn’t resist doing a shoe review for you.
Shoe Review – Iron Fist Love Me Now Wedges
About the Iron Fist Love Me Now Wedges
These shoes are a very chunky, platform style wedge.
Now the heel itself is covered in a red velvet style material. Then the shoe is a hot pink background with old school style roses and anchors all over.
Inside is black with white hearts and on the front is a bow in the same material and decor as the inside.
Very retro and look super cool paired with most clothing that I own. Even prettier with a pair of skinny jeans or a 50’s style dress.
Made out of vegan materials as usual so you are confident they are suitable for all. Made out of PU.
Although these look really high, they don’t feel that high when wearing. This is due to the front part being quite high also.
Walking in them is really easy, as they are wide so less chance of a buckle when wearing these.
Very sturdy and love how they look.
The bottom of the shoe is tan with an anchor logo with a rose in the middle with a black outline.
Take a few weeks to wear in, but once worn in they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own.
Best part about them, they have cushioning which makes them a real comfortable wear.
Cost and quality
Again, these are an older pair of shoes so the quality for me, is really good.
With more wear, the shoes did not come apart and there was no issues with fading. Even the velvet part has held up with it’s colour.
Cost wise, I believe these were around the £70 mark at one point, but I got these shipped for £20 on eBay.
I know – I am finding some great deals aren’t I?
As previous posts, these shoes are being sold very cheap due to the brand no longer selling. So would recommend to snap them up quick in case the costs go up in future when people realise.
If you keep your shoes clean and safe, they will stay like new. Obviously you can’t avoid scuffing over time. However you can get shoe pens in different colours if you do eventually get them.
Final Thoughts
Over time, I will be purchasing more as I want to have a large collection and now is the right time to be snapping up these purchases.
Keep an eye on the blog for even more reviews as next up is the Lacey Days Platform,
I am pretty sad that I am going to start looking for alternative shoes but so far, these kinds of prints are not being made. It’s mainly Goth style shoes.
Who knows, let’s see if there is another company making such pretty and good quality shoes in the future! Fingers crossed.
