With the range of shoes I have been purchasing, I wanted a different style for each pair. Now the Iron Fist Platform in Lacey Days have the sides cut out so you have the part across your toes then the back part.
What I really loved is the ankle strap as it really sets off the look of the shoe.
Before I get into this review, I wanted to say that Iron Fist appears to no longer be trading. Why? Well I don’t know. But it is rather upsetting.
I purchased these on eBay for a bargain and really got them for a good price.
Iron Fist Platform – Lacey Days
About the Lacey Days Heels
A cream platform shoe with a black lacy detail all over. A pretty skull pattern.
There is also a cute little ankle strap which makes them more sturdier whilst wearing.
Inside this time, is a fabric detail in black and white stripes, whilst other shoes have a PU inside. There is also a cute striped fabric bow with a tiny pink skull metal detail.
Very high heel at the back with a smaller platform at the front so these are high wearing. I would recommend to get used to wearing these due to the size of the heel.
You feel like you are walking on your ti toes and they are incredibly narrow so need a lot of practice.
The ankle strap helps keeps the shoes on and stopping them slip off which I feel they would without the strap.
Design wise, they are beautiful to look at, but not as comfortable to wear.
Unless you are experienced in heels, which I am not. You may just wear these for limited walking events, or photography.
Cost and quality
I have to admit, I was a little upset that the pattern was wearing off around the front due to putting feet in and found it does wear off easily. Also quality is not as good as older pairs of shoes.
Now these retailed around £60-£80 and really don’t think these were worth that. I paid £20 including shipping for these which is worth the money.
They are alright quality, but with being so narrow in the heel, I don’t believe they are as sturdy as they could be with a thicker heel.
I do quite like them, however I don’t think I would be wearing them as much.
They seem to hold up well when wearing repeatedly and do receive free heel replacements for the bottom.
So not to bad, certainly not worth paying more than £30 for.
Final Thoughts
As beautiful as these shoes are, I am not sure they will be worn as much due to the height and being quite narrow.
I think I got them at a bargain so I am not overly upset as they will make some fabulous pictures and also look good when I don’t have too far to walk.
These are certainly a more photographic shoe than something I would wear outside. They look beautiful though!
I do prefer the Tomorrow’s Sorrow Platform
