I’m making a conscious effort in 2022 to get back into my practice more and enjoy exploring new things along the way. So this pushed me to purchase the Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn as it looked really good and wanted something to stick to throughout the year. It’s full of wonderful spells and information that will have you set on your way for the year.
Every year I purchase a number of almanacs for the year ahead. This year I have purchased the Moonology Diary 2022 and Llewellyn’s 2022 Herbal Almanac: A Practical Guide to Growing, Cooking and Crafting. Both have been staples each year and wanted a more spell related one.

I really wanted to review the Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn as this is a book that I thoroughly liked and I know many would really enjoy it just as much. I’ll be reviewing the almanac and telling you what I think, with a few spoilers of what is inside (I won’t spoil it too much).
Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn About The Book And Quality
This is an almanac dedicated to making your days more magical, giving you 365 easy and effective spells for the year. Using the wheel of the year and specific dates, each spell you can use on the given day, or at any time you need. The Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn is the perfect guide for the year ahead.
There is also rituals, recipes and so much more. You can learn more about the wheel of the year, incense and colours. This almanac is jam-packed full of information and you can keep it for future reference too!
This is a paperback book, the paper quality is really good. It has a rough texture which I really love for these types of books. It gives the book a more aged feel to it. The font is really nice and easy to read.
Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn Review
The first thing I wanted to talk about is the content of this book. I don’t want to give too much away, but enough so you understand just how great the Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn is.
Firstly, the start of the book talks about the book and how to use it, giving you tips on things like visualisation. You are also given a list of the icons throughout the book, which to be fair, are self-explanatory as they were created this way. There is also a chart of the types of spells, like healing success etc and you can use this to easily find something specific. You don’t have to wait for each specific day to do a spell, you can do any of them at any given time.
Each month, you start with some information about the month. Why the month is named as what it is, a little about the upcoming sabbat and some information about the month in general. For example, February is the month when the earth wakes up after a long winter (If you are in the Northern hemisphere).
Now, each day has an astrological symbol, moon phase (in quarters), the colour of the day and incense of the day. If you are like me and a huge lover of incense, this is a great way to utilise your incense. Then you are provided with a headline for the day, such as ‘Releasing negativity’ or ‘Let go of a problem’.
Each day is different, you are given chants, spells and information about what you are doing that day. So for example, May 6th is ‘Clean Sweep’ and tells you what the spell is designed to do, lean out your home of energy that no longer serves you.
What I enjoy about the Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn is you can use it any time of the year, just keep the collection of spells. For example, there is a really good banishing spell and although it is in February, I will use it for other months too.
The back of the book has a lot of information too, from the astrological symbols to information about the days of the week. It also has the moon signs and a glossary which gives you a lot of information too.
This really is a jam-packed book and you learn so much along the way. My favourite is learning more about forgotten holidays such as Saturnalia so this has given me more to celebrate throughout the year.
My Final Thoughts Of The Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn
Overall, I love the Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac 2022 Llewellyn and have learned so much, especially learning about other holidays I had never heard of. This is a great way to take 30 minutes each day and do something I enjoy, but I don’t have to feel guilty if I don’t do it every day either.
I can pick up and choose specific days for something I want to do, like if I want to do a cleanse again. I know I can do it any time and really enjoy myself at the same time.
