I am slowly finding more and more subscription boxes and came across The Witches Moon Subscription which really caught my eye.
When perusing the internet, I came across The Witches Moon and it looked wonderful from past boxes. So of course, here we are, giving it a try!
Each month, you get new wonderful items with a themed box and I will get into the theme more as I review the box and the contents.
The Witches Moon is a fabulous website that sells such wonderful items from statues, spell kits to jewellery. Everything you need in one place and really affordable.
There is also a couple of subscriptions such as this box and the Witches Bounty which contains Crystal & Metaphysical Necklaces/Pendants.
I have to point out this this box is curated so well and there is items you will not get anywhere else as they are made especially for The Witches Moon. Also I noticed that the items are all vegan, ethically sourced and kind to the environment so you can trust them 100%.
Now The Witches Moon Subscription box is based in the US so if you are from the UK, be aware of fee’s you may need to pay when having this sent over.
There are some differences in this box to others that I get and will give you a run down on what it is and why. Also why this is really worth the money! I do regularly review different Witches subscription boxes if they look good to me.
We like a good subscription box and this one is certainly by far a good one!
The Witches Moon Subscription Box June 2019
This month is all about cleansing and clearing that dormant, old energy or even negative energy that has built up in your home.
The contents are so interesting and I can’t help but say this is such a wonderful box and every item has a purpose!
Aptly named ‘The Clearing’ you bet that everything in this box will aid in clearing your home or work space and that is exactly what I intend to do.
This box contains a whopping 16 items! So let’s get into the items shall we?
Spiny Oyster Shell
Before I get into this item, I just want to say that this is ethically sourced especially for The Witches Moon.
What I like is the large spiny oyster shell as a statement piece, I haven’t had anything like this before. Perfect to hold items as required and even comes with a stand as below.
I haven’t got anything like this and can even be used to hold your cleansing sticks as required
Looks really lovely and perfect accompaniment to any room.
The spiny oyster shell is used for patience and understanding which pairs well with this box.
Large Hand-Crafted Tripod Pedestal
A very lovely pale wood pedestal that can be use to hold your spiny oyster shell, a large crystal ball or an abalone shell.
So you can use this for a multitude of reasons and hold different objects as required.
I really like it, feels light but holds the spiny oyster shell well.
Rosemary Sage Bundle
Occasionally I will do a smoke cleansing but I am not keen on just using sage. I prefer to use other types of herbs and rosemary was the perfect one for me.
Tightly wrapped, the rosemary sage bundle lights easily as it was dried out very well. Paired with the shell, it made a perfect team for cleansing my home.
I would purchase this again.
The Three Rays Of Witchcraft Pewter Pendant And Chain
A quite large and heavy pendant with a really lovely chain. This beautiful pewter pendant was created by Christopher Penczak who is an award winning teacher, author and practitioner.
So the pendant brings with it the three rays of witchcraft, resembling love, wisdom and power.
It’s really beautiful and very heavy, so not something you can wear all the time (Unless you like a heavy pendant) and perfect to wear when performing cleansing rituals in your home or on yourself.
The Silencing Rolled Spell Candle
A hand-rolled and anointed silencing spell candle that will help silence your sacred space or places in your home/office.
All thoughts, emotions, energies and mental chatter will start to quieten down as you proceed with the mantra.
The candle also has rosemary rolled in there, which to me, is the perfect herb for clearing your mind, space and start to feel peace and ready to do what you need to do.
What I love about the candle, is it has come ready prepared and can be used again and again, as needed.
Banish Magickal Anointing Oil
I do like a good anointing oil for candles, especially when I am looking to have a good home cleansing, or need to cleanse my mind.
This months box came with a lovely sized anointing oil that smells really good and did work on a candle spell I have.
You can use this on a number of things, but I prefer to anoint a candle as required.
Consecrate Sacred Salt
I love using bath salts and was excited to see that there was a lovely pot of salt in there. So this particular salt is a rock salt with Myrrh, Frankincense and Cyprus oils, along with Eucalyptus and ground Sage.
There is also a pop of aura cleansing oil with the mixture.
So you just pop some of this into a bath and allow it to work as you relax.
I have used all of this up already as it was so beautiful. Now I did feel charged and full of energy after visualisation.
Clarity Incense Sticks
Lemongrass based incense sticks that smell absolutely wonderful. I could smell these as soon as I opened the box.
I do use incense quite often and found the Clarity incense did help remove the unwanted chatter in my mind allowing me to focus on a task.
They do smell wonderful, very zingy!
Blue Sodalite Crystal
One stone I don’t currently have is Sodalite and this was a nice touch to my collection. Now this was quite a hefty chunk and was really impressed at the size of this!
It’s very beautiful and great for when I am practising divination. I keep this next to me at all times and helps me focus on reading tarot or scrying.
Dried Herbs
Hyssop
One thing I recently ran out of was Hyssop so I was glad to see this in my box.
Used for protection and purification, this is a wonder herb and one you need in your collection.
This came in about a 25g sized packet, really reasonable! A good additional to The Witches Moon Subscription Box
Ground Sage
We all have sage in some form in our home, a wonderful cleansing herb.
This wasn’t ground to powder, but it was ground quite fine so can be used for coating candles, burning for a good cleanse and also in the bath (Where I like to use it)
Again, this came in a little 25g sized sachet.
Elf Leaf
Elf Leaf, or better known as Rosemary is a great all rounder herb. You can use this for a wide range of reasons, cleansing and purification is the mostly used option.
Rosemary I do use all the time, from cooking to bathing and much more!
You can substitute any herb for Rosemary!
This came in about a 25g packet.
Artwork – Stag Moon/July Esbat And Full Moon Book Of Shadows ArtWork
On a stone coloured background, 2x beautiful artwork depicts the Stag Moon and the July Esbat all in one.
I really enjoyed this and have this up in my office (Where I also perform a range of things)
This piece was specifically curated for this box, I like having items curated for a box only and unavailable to purchase elsewhere. Makes it feel special.
Personalised Oracle Reading
I have to admit, I was taken aback that I received a personalised oracle reading from the ‘Namaste: Blessings & Divination Cards’ by Toni Carmine Salerno.
This is a very beautiful image and words of wisdom that I keep on my desk to get me through a day of work.
A very lovely touch to the curated box.
Parchment Paper
I don’t actually have parchment paper, but it is good that I have a piece for future use. I liked this little touch to the box.
Overall Thoughts Of The Witches Moon Box
I have to admit, I really did like the personal touches to The Witches Moon Subscription Box and it is very different to others I have received previously.
Now I do have quite a number of boxes that I receive each month and they are all very different in their own way.
I would highly recommend this box as it has a wide range of items, even though there is a theme with the box. They all fit together and serve a purpose.
What I would like to see more of, is the theme each month and a wide range of items. This is my first box so it is going to be exciting to see what comes next.
From the parchment paper you receive with guidance about the contents and uniquely written information, to the artwork and even the broad range of items that suit a specific purpose, you really know you are getting your money’s worth with this box.
So I do live in the UK so does take a bit of time to get over here, but not as long as I originally anticipated.
Totally recommend this, can’t wait to see what comes in next month’s box!
