Freya’s Cauldron The Spell Keepers Chest June 2019

Freya’s Cauldron The Spell Keepers Chest June 2019

Here we are with the very first box I ever purchased, the Freya’s Cauldron – The Spell Keepers Chest subscription box that I anticipate each month with excitement!

Anyone that knows me, knows I purchase a few bits and bobs already from Freya’s Cauldron as their prices are fantastic and their shipping is fast.

Each purchase is packed well and I am always excited to receive items!

This month’s box is for Lammas/Lughnassadh which is August 1st/2nd. Otherwise known as the Harvest Festival.

I do celebrate the Sabbats in my very own way, but this box was beautifully curated to celebrate such a wonderful occasion.

Every month, you get a beautiful booklet with information about the box, the items in the box along with some fact sheets to keep. This month we get an essential oil fact sheet.

So let’s get stuck into the box then shall we?

Freya’s Cauldron The Spell Keepers Chest June 2019

May Chang Oil

The perfect oil for rejuvenation. As we shed the old, we enter into the new. May Chang Oil will help make you feel alive, rejuvenated and letting go of anguish, fears and issues that we face and worry about.

You can use this for many things, pop a few drops in the bath. Or anoint a candle as required.

Comes in a beautiful little bottle that can be reusable! Perfect addition to the spell keepers chest.

Spell Candles

I love receiving the spell candles each month, I find them super useful and they fit my requirements for the month ahead. It’s like they read my mind!

This month we received the colours pink, purple and lilac.

The colours represent similar connotations such as peace, divination and each candle has much more:

Purple: Divination, psychic awareness, power, success, financial rewards, independence, spirituality, third eye, wisdom, higher self, ambition, influence.
Lilac: Intuition, peace, healing and spiritual work.
Pink: Inner peace, femininity, honour, unselfishness, diplomacy, leadership, affection, friendship and love.

Another aspect of this box is the candle details you receive, providing insight into the uses and also meanings of each colour.

Herb Pots

Chicory Root – Used mostly in charm bags, Chicory Root is wonderful for using when you need to clear some obstacles in your path. It’s also used for invisibility, for whatever reason and you don’t want people to notice you, wear a charm bag of this and you can breeze through whatever you need to, without being seen and noticed. (You won’t literally be invisible, you just won’t be noticed)

Ground Ivy – Ground Ivy isn’t that common so I was glad to receive a large pot of this.
I use ground Ivy for perception, when I need a little boost for my perception.
You can use it to boost auras and see them more clearly, boost an energy field or even to see others on the other side more clearly.
This is also perfect for finding out if anyone is using magick against you. Freya’s Cauldron advised to place at the base of a yellow candle, burn the candle on a Tuesday and the person will become known to you.
Finally, perfect for sleep. Place into a charm bag for a good nights kip!

Lammas Herb Blend

I love the herb blend pots we get every month with this box. This month’s is no exception!

A blend curated specially for Lammas, can be used on candles, to burn or even in the bath! So many uses, so little time.

Freya’s Cauldron gives you some ideas of how to use it, like creating a charm bag and placing into your garden.

Rose Quartz Chunk

I am a firm believer that you can never have enough rose quartz so I was glad to see a nice chunk this month.

It is very popular and there isn’t many people I know that don’t have a piece of this hanging around.

Spell Kit

Every month we get a perfectly curated spell kit to suit that month’s box and of course, an upcoming sabbat is there is one.

This time we got a wonderful cleansing spell, including 2 blue candles and instructions on how to use.

I like the added spells that we received, they can be performed by anyone!

Tree Of Life Crystal Pendant

I was so excited to receive a beautiful piece of jewellery this month, this is a first for me and I have seen this necklace before. Now I really wanted it but just never got round to purchasing it.

So I received the Carnelian tree of life pendant and I am happy with the selection. There was 3 different ones available, a tigers eye and a chakra one. I prefer the Carnelian one so this suits me.

It’s quite a delicate necklace and looks beautiful on. Perfect addition to my jewellery collection.

Lammas Plaque

The last few months we have been receiving a plaque dedicated to a sabbat and this one is just as beautiful.

There is a slight pop of colour with the blue and red, showing harvest and also a cockerel.

I have been hanging these in my garden on my posts, they look really lovely out there!

Gold Star Candle Holder

I actually get excited when I receive a candle holder, they can be quite hard to find over here. Thankfully we receive one now and again so we have something for our spell candles that we receive.

This one is really nice, very lightweight but does the job and suits me aesthetically.

Vial And Pippet Pack

I use essential oils all the time, so was pleased to see a vial and pippet pack within the box. This is really handy as we do receive an oil each month and you can start to make your own blends over time.

Brilliant idea and compliments the box really well!

Final Thoughts

Overall, again I am very pleased with the Freya’s Cauldron Spell Keepers Chest and loved the little touches like the vial and pippet pack that I had got within .

This was a wonderfully curated box and each month comes with beautiful products.

I especially love the herb bots, they are an excellent size and would strongly recommend Freya’s Cauldron if you want to stock up on supplies as the prices are the best out there.

Can’t wait for next months box!
