I have a lot of plain tops or dresses that I wanted to wear but found wearing plain leggings or jeans was truly boring. So I went looking for alternative witchy goth leggings on a budget.
I searched many websites for really nice leggings but the designs were just not to my taste so I started looking on AliExpress for leggings and found absolutely loads to choose from.
Altogether I purchased 8 pairs of leggings. 6 from the same seller then 2 random pairs from different sellers.
I will talk about all 8 pairs below and of course discuss the sizing, quality and so forth.
One good thing about AliExpress is you can get a lot of items that aren’t sold anywhere else. These leggings I purchased, I couldn’t find sold anywhere else so felt they were just patterns made into leggings.
They are also on Amazon however they are a higher cost than AliExpress.
I thought I would get some pairs, give them a try and then give my option on them.
Alternative Witchy Goth Leggings On A Budget
Sizing
Depending on what seller you purchase them from, they have different sizing guides.
All the leggings I purchased, I got in size M and they were slightly tight. Not too tight that they are uncomfortable but they were not sagging at the knees or riding up/down. So in my eyes, they fit me perfectly.
I’m between a size 10-12 – depending where I buy clothing from so think a L would have been a bit roomy. If you want them to fit you tight, go for the size that you measure. But if you don’t want them tight, go a size larger.
Material
One pair of leggings, the blue and gold sun, moon and stars leggings are a soft, stretchy material. Not like your usual legging material, I would say more like a soft top. But they feel so comfortable and look great on.
The other 7 pairs are the same lycra material but I guess more like a swim suit, than your regular leggings.
However they feel smooth, soft and cling to your body, rather than sagging and stretching in places.
Wear and wash
I was worried that the patterns would start to fade with washing however they have not. The patterns are still as bright as when I first purchased them.
Sometimes they can shrink however this was not the case either, they remain in the same shape as when they first arrived.
Now with some leggings I have, they started sagging at the knees due to stretching. However whilst wearing and even after washing they did not stretch at the knees.
Even the soft cotton pair have washed really well with no sagging in the knee areas.
Designs
They have so many designs and the designs I got are very different.
4 pairs of the Goth leggings have beautiful skull type designs.
One is white skulls with light pink flower design. These are actually really lovely and can wear them with quite a few different designs.
Another is a dark grey and white sugar skull design. In fact, I also got another pair that are dark with skulls on. They look so cool!
Final skull pair is a woman with a black background, but she is more of a skull design with darker pink roses.
Now getting into the other ones, I have a Grey/Blue colour pair of leggings with symbols all over in light grey. These have pentagrams on and look pretty epic. Really cool Goth Leggings.
My favourite pair are navy blue with yellow suns, moons and starts, but also have an astrological look to them with the symbols around the sums and moons. Then larger symbols in a lighter blue colour.
Black and silver pair of leggings adorned with silver moons and suns all over. Very Witchy style leggings.
Finally, another black pair of Witchy leggings with palmistry symbols all over the leggings. Things such as moons and symbols also adorn the leggings.
You could find any design you are looking for as somewhere, they will be sold online.
Final Thoughts
I paid around £5-£6 per pair of leggings which included delivery. This is a very good price as they are made out of a really lovely material and seem to be lasting.
Well worth the wait, delivery was about 3 weeks so if you need them quick, you might be best looking on Amazon but may need to pay more.
I will be purchasing more, but now need to find some shorts to go with them (I don’t do skirts)
Certainly going to be buying more and excited to see if they come with more designs.
